London, also know as the Forest City is a city in Southwestern Ontario along the Quebec City-Windsor channels. With a population of 422,324, London is a multicultural city with an economy concentrated around healthcare, education, and technology. The Forest City is known for its top hospitals, university, insurance, and information technology sectors. 1.Visit Museum London

Museum London was established in 1940. London Regional Art Gallery and London Historical Museum joined together in 1989 creating what is know today as the Museum London. Pay a visit to see over 5,000 beautiful art collections and look at the history of the city as well as its art and culture.
2. Visit the Banting House

Sir Fredrick Banting was a Canadian co-founder of Insulin, born (Nov 14, 1891, to Feb 21, 1942). Banting was a Canadian Medical Scientist, physician, painter, and a Nobel Prize Laureate. Insulin is a peptide hormone produced by beta-cells of the pancreatic islets. Insulin regulates the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, and protein by promoting the absorption of sugar from the blood into the liver, fat, and bone cells., it is a hormone that lowers the level of sugar in the blood, important for the treatment of diabetes. Banting House was declared a national Historic site of Canada in 1997. Visit the birthplace of insulin.
3. Go to Western Fair Raceway/slots

The Western Fair District hosts amusement park full of festivities during the second week of September, starting Friday and ending on Sunday. The district also has a horse raceway and OLG casino slot machines. Open 12 months a year, catch one of the entertainment acts at the district.
4. Go to Fanshawe Conservation Area (The Pioneer Village)
As a living history Museum that shares the local history of London and Middlesex County between 1820 and 1920. 5. Take a tour at Labatt Brewery
Founded by John Kinder, Labatt Brewery was first opened in 1847, it is the largest brewer company in Canada with six locations across the country, it has been in business for over 170 years. 6. Watch the London Nights/Lightning Game at the Budweiser Gardens

7. Go to St. Peters Cathedral
Established on August 10, 1834, as St. Peters Parish, it is the first Catholic Church in London. It was known as St. Lawrence the Martyr Church. This beautiful cathedral has seen some renovations throughout the years and has turned into a stunning masterpiece of architecture. Come see inside and attend one of the church services.
8. Visit Gibraltar Weekend Market

9. Go to East Park

East Park is a “Place to Go and Play “, founded in 1963 by 10 London families, the park was mostly for golf but has turned to all you can do amusement park. The park now offers indoor, outdoor and waterpark activities. You can play golf, go on driving range, go karts. They also baseball batting cages, rock climbing, arcade games and more. This is a place you should check out when you’re in Forest City.
10. Attend one of Forest City’s Seasonal Festivals

London is home to many festivals including, Sunfest, Rock the Park. The Rib Fest is the second largest BBQ rib festival in North America and Sunfest is the second largest festival in Canada after Caribana. Make sure to come and enjoy one of these festivities.
